Paul Olson

Paul has more than 20 years of experience with grant management and planning at the city and county levels.

He has designed, obtained and administered over $40 million in various grant and loan projects. His work in more than three dozen different cities has focused on the areas of community development, planning, housing and economic development.

His attention to detail is a strong asset in assuring compliance with a project’s goals and objectives, or with a program’s rules, regulations and reporting requirements.

Paul is former member of the Hendricks City Council, giving him direct perspective on the challenges and responsibilities of local elected officials.

In addition, he has served on several boards, regional organizations and community groups, including the Lincoln County Enterprise Development Corporation, Hendricks Economic Development Authority, and the Southwest Minnesota Initiative Fund’s Loan Advisory Board.

Paul has a B.A. degree in Political Science from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota. He lives in Hendricks.
