When a nearby building exploded in Lake Wilson causing widespread ruin, four brand-new units of duplex housing were severely damaged and became unoccupiable.

DSI assisted the Lake Wilson EDA to act quickly and creatively to reconstruct the duplexes so they were not lost to the community.

DSI assembled the financing package, organized the bidding and contracting of repair work, inspected the work, and helped advertise and promote the units once they were brought back onto the market.
