Vince Robinson, managing partner with Development Services, Inc., has been instrumental in organizing an investor-based wind power project in southern Lincoln County, Minnesota.

Robinson has assisted Community Wind North, LLC in their efforts to organize a 30 megawatt locally-owned wind-generated electricity project that will consist of individual wind towers owned by 15 separate limited liability companies.

Local investors will own each company, thereby keeping the economic benefits local.

Beyond this project, however, Vince Robinson has played a key role for several years in the growth and development of wind power in southwest Minnesota. By providing assistance ranging from coordination with the State Legislature and major power companies, to one-on-one help for individual wind power developers, Robinson has built a valuable store of knowledge and expertise in this growing renewable energy industry.
