Development Services, Inc. was instrumental in the planning and development stages of a major ethanol plant in southern Minnesota.

Organized by farmers and investors in the region, Heron Lake BioEnergy has the capacity to produce 50 million gallons of fuel-grade ethanol. This $119 million project provides a good source of income for 45 workers in the Heron Lake region and will provide a valuable new market for corn production.

Vince Robinson, managing partner with DSI, worked closely with the Board of Directors in coordinating all aspects of the project, including engineering, legal, fiscal, environmental, and equity investment
