Development Services, Inc. was instrumental in the planning and development stages of a major ethanol plant in southern Minnesota.
Organized by farmers and investors in the region, Heron Lake BioEnergy has the capacity to produce 50 million gallons of fuel-grade ethanol. This $119 million project provides a good source of income for 45 workers in the Heron Lake region and will provide a valuable new market for corn production.
